The rebuild begins

Just caught up with the chassis pics, looking very solid.
Bolting to the ends of the rear torsion tube is a great idea.
Keep the updates coming.

I really bolted to the torsion tube to help stop the twist in it as the upper chassis frame is welded to the tube, I was surprised as to how much movement there was, I haven't put in all the small frame work in yet but it's fairly ridged

Managed to escape to the garage for a couple of hours to start making the front two engine mounts, had to cut and reverse the rubber mount cage and re weld, making the main mounts out of the old torsion arms, could of use after market rubbers on one side of the engine but didn't want an inbalance

I must admit I do like welding, but still using the Mig as I haven't really practiced enough with the Tig welder yet
