I have the Nova since November and I am doing the work in free time, so progress will be slow, I also have 2 other open projects that take me time too.

So was the car was when it arrived from UK.

After removing the body, the chassis was rust, so the floors had to be redone, and the floor had to be lowered, pending testing with the seats is a 4" drop, which would be a 3" drop in the normal beetle floor, a lot of rust cleaning work already done here.

Looks like you’ve got a great large clean workshop there which will make your rebuild much more enjoyable. I took my chassis back to that state in a cramped garage with the body hanging just above it ... not the best way to work. Looks like you’ve got a great project there and I’m looking forward to seeing your progress

Good work, the tube has cleaned up nicely, that framehead looks to be in good condition as well, that's a bonus.

I have seen your work and I know is more difficult to work, I too worked so in another projects and everyday I had to take things out to work and in winter was very cold, now I have the lucky of can work in a good workshop

Hello man, Looks like a neat job.
With nothing on the chassis, now may be a good time to move the gear lever back.
I had that done by a VW engineering company (Flatlands) in the UK, they did it *before* the floor pans went on because the access is easier.
