That’s a pity Dan. When you get it back try removing the plugs and squirting some releasing oil into the cylinders. Leave it for a while and then gently try to turn the crankshaft pulley wheel with a spanner. You never know ...

That is the first thing that will happen. It’s had water ingress before and I’ve managed to save it, so we will see.
Once the engine is done chances are it may accidentally roll in to my spray booth for a killer paint job, if it comes back to me it stays

Come on then, let’s make this a little more positive.
If I’m keeping it I’ll need to paint it. The body needs some work anyway and I’ve been wanting to paint it for a while.

What colour do you think would look good on it? Give me some options, I work with paint every day and often think “that would look great”, but other opinions are always good!

I’ll start it off, Audi Mica Racing Blue, possibly with a little metal flake added in for fun.

In my phone so cannot see the attachment, however the chosen colour will have to pop against the chrome of the engine.
Maybe the opposite of white being black, however the curves of the car would be hidden with a dark colour.
Light, bright and very in your face 😂

For me it would depend on the finish of the bodywork. If the finish is flawless then you will be fine with dark colours, however, if the finish is blemished I would stick with lighter colours that are more forgiving

It will be flawless, if I’m going to do it I’ll do it properly. It can sit in my bodyshop for as long as it takes and I have employees that I can put on it when quiet too

BTW if your staff are ever at a loose end, send them up here to work on my Nova. I've not worked on it since the end of July

That would look good, it’s got to be crazy whatever I go for. A normal colour isn’t going to work on this car.
I think I’ll have to hunt for the time to get them working on this, but where there’s a will there’s a way.
