Hmm tread carefully, I think white works well on the car. Maybe add some go-faster stripes or graphics? Just a thought.

Just a suggestion. Use your trade and skills to get the car fully fixed.
Example, find an engine builder that needs his car painted. You paint the car, he fixes the engine.
The same approach for a vehicle electrician. He fully wires the car, you paint his car.
That way you keep the cost right down. Trade working with trade.
Just an idea 👍
We do skill swaps quite often, works for everybody.
I’ve got someone on stand by to take a look at the engine when it gets back here, he needs a truck cab painting so there we go.

That's what happened to my original 1600, hence the 1641. water through the filters and down the inlets. But mine was long term and pitted the bores, but hey, it was a good excuse, usually a dose of lub' down the plug holes does the trick and gets it running again, soon cleans itself up. Hope you get it sorted and keep it, I love the white but a little, and I do mean a little colour would be nice.
