    Electrical confusion with dynamo

Guys, can anyone shed any light here please,
first image is what I have on the old engine, under the cover is a bolt with a connection and also 3 spade terminals.

Second image is what is on the new engine, a single spade and bolt connection.

Do I need to swap the units over or is there anything I can do with the wiring to make it work? There isnít an external voltage regulator on either as far as I know.

    Thanks

I think the new engine already has an alternator fitted instead of a dynamo?

I believe so too. So the three connections need to be made to one to fit the new system. Hmmm
