Cruise to the Prom Reloaded 2021 - Weston Super Mare

    Evening All

We spent the day with Ray and Gary at this local event held on the beach lawns in WSM. We started off with a cruise of VWs all shapes and sizes and actually were invited to lead the cruise from a carpark in Worle, down the scenic [bumpy even though it was only resurfaced 2 years ago ish] coastal road through Kewstoke, past the old pier along the prom to the lawns.

The weather held out, only a few spots of rain for about 10 mins, otherwise sunny but windy. We both got a whole load of interest, and I picked up a prize for 'Favourite Aircooled Vehicle'.

Here are a few photos from the day, I didn't take many as we were chatting about the cars for a lot of the time. I have also grabbed some screen shots from Instagram by a few other people that were there.

I also screen recorded a clip someone had put on Instagram to show you how full the lawns were...

    Great area for the show.

Great to hear that two of our local Nova’s were out at the show. Thanks for sharing the pictures.

I had to provide some ‘emergency assistance’ to Ray and Gary last week to get the roof working on Ray’s Nova, but was a bit off colour today so couldn’t make the show.
